Dr. Lee attended Coral Springs High School, where she completed a rigorous academic curriculum and participated in multiple extracurricular clubs.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was accepted on a full-ride merit scholarship. During her time at Berkeley, she studied abroad twice, gaining broader exposure to global perspectives, culture, and healthcare approaches.

Philosophy & Approach

Dr. Lee’s philosophy centers on restoring clear communication between the brain and body through the nervous system. Rather than focusing only on pain or symptoms, she prioritizes how the body is functioning as a whole.

Her approach is patient-first and non-invasive, using gentle chiropractic methods to identify and reduce areas of nervous system interference. Dr. Lee takes time to listen carefully, explain findings in plain language, and involve patients in their care decisions. She believes education is essential to healing and empowers patients to take an active role in their long-term wellness.

Life Story

Dr. Susan Lee was born and raised in South Florida, where she grew up surrounded by family, school life, and close friendships. She has a younger sister just one grade below her, which made school feel like a shared experience rather than a competition. From an early age, Dr. Lee loved learning and consistently excelled academically, participating in a wide range of extracurricular clubs throughout elementary, middle, and high school.

One of the most influential experiences of her youth was competing in Business Professionals of America, where she advanced through regional, state, and national levels for multiple years. Combined with her academic performance, this helped her earn acceptance to the University of California, Berkeley on a full-ride merit scholarship. Although staying close to her family was important to her, she embraced the opportunity to grow independently and later studied abroad twice, broadening her perspective on health, culture, and service.

Dr. Lee comes from a family deeply rooted in hard work and care for others. Her parents immigrated from China—her mother practiced medicine, and her father worked as a chef throughout his career. Her mother’s use of herbal remedies and natural approaches to health meant medication was rarely the first solution at home. This upbringing naturally shaped Dr. Lee’s interest in holistic, preventative, and nervous-system-focused care. While she enjoyed recreational activities such as tennis, table tennis, and badminton, her passions were always more academic, driven by curiosity, service, and purpose.

Chiropractic Techniques

Dr. Lee uses gentle chiropractic techniques tailored to each patient’s comfort and nervous system needs:

  • Tonal Integrative Correction (TIC): A seated, low-force technique focused on improving spinal tone and calming the nervous system without twisting, popping, or cracking.
  • Torque Release Technique (TRT): A precise, instrument-assisted approach that uses speed rather than force for gentle and specific spinal corrections.
  • Instrument-Assisted Adjustments: Handheld tools that provide controlled, consistent input, well-suited for sensitive patients and children.
  • Hands-On Gentle Adjustments: Modified manual techniques used when appropriate, especially for infants and patients requiring additional care.
  • Nervous System Assessments: Ongoing evaluations to monitor stress patterns, healing capacity, and functional progress.

What Made Dr. Lee Choose Chiropractic

While studying at UC Berkeley, Dr. Lee knew she wanted a career in healthcare focused on helping people truly heal. An integrative medicine course introduced her to multiple health professions, but chiropractic stood out through powerful patient stories—particularly cases involving migraines, seizures, and neurological challenges where traditional options had provided limited answers. Seeing how chiropractic care could restore quality of life and independence solidified her decision to pursue this profession.
